Yeah, "Man of Steel" is like "Dragonball Z"

If you haven't seen "Man of Steel," as stated in the image above, there are some spoilers ahead.  Now before you start thinking that I'm going to be talking about the CGI and the fight scenes, I'm not. The "Man of Steel" can be compared to the first Season of "Dragonball Z."

I'm just going to point out a few things:

1. Earth's Savior is an Alien.
Clark and Goku are both beings from alien planets that are inherently stronger than us simple puny humans on earth.  The both have an Earth name and an alien name, Kal-el and Kakarot respectively.  

2. The Hero's Home Planet is Destroyed.
Clark's Krypton and Goku's Planet Vegeta were both destroyed when they were just newborns, which brings me to my next point.

3. The Hero  Escapes Deaths in the Same Way
Their fathers put them in escape pods as babies and they ended up on Earth.

As you see the heroes have their similarities but so do the villains.

 4. The Villain is also from the Same Planet as the Hero.
General Zod and Vegeta also escaped the destruction of their home planets.

5. The Villain displays Similar Strength and Power to the Hero.
This is simply because they come from the same place.

6. The Villain Wanted to Rule their Planet.
General Zod thought that the political structure didn't work and he wanted military rule while Vegeta was next in line to be King and was anxious to do so.

7. Creation of a New Home Planet and at the Destruction of Earth.
General Zod and Vegeta had Earth's destruction and mind.  They were bent on continuing their race.

8. The Villain offered Allegiance.

They also have a lot of differences but these similarities are at the base of their stories.  If you have some similarities I missed or you think I'm totally bonkers, feel free to comment below.
